Nail Çakırhan and Halet Çambel Culture and Art House

It is a small but valuable museum built by Nail Çakırhan to pass on the traditional values and artistic richness of the Muğla and Ula region to future generations. It also functions as Akyaka’s Culture and Art House. Nail Çakırhan is a famous Turkish poet, journalist, architect, and restorer who pioneered the Akyaka houses, which are famous for their wooden architecture, and is a recipient of an international architecture award.
